Gonzo Garlington

Dr. Garlington open his new photography show at the 111 Minna gallery downtown.  Opening night was packed with a bunch of stylish weirdoes, including Trevor Cole in bowler hat- we’re just informed that he is training to be a hot air balloon pilot up in the Napa Valley.  Since selling Zebulon’s Lounge in Petaluma he has been locked in his art studio putting brush to canvas.  Garlington looked good-folks were buying the deluxe version of his book ($185) like hotcakes and he had to put down his martini many times to sign them for his adoring fans.  Late in the night we sealed the deal for Garlington to shoot the cover shot for Nate’s book, Packing For the Apocalypse- something involving clowns, a train yard, and a naked lady.
